Hello Kitty meet school.
... and when in 2006 we formed an alliance with the Sanrio Group for Hello Kitty, based on the character who’s been wooing girls of all ages for decades. In 2006, Hello Kitty, which was already very well known, had not started marketing for schools. So we designed six collections in the space of two years, and this led to Hello Kitty tripling its sales and becoming a fashion statement in and outside the classroom. This success is expected to increase further still over the next couple of years, with exponential growth.
This is also in line with Sanrio’s own forecasts; in the meantime we have become their international partners with other licences for new products.
